The breed standard is, I believe, designed to emphasise the harmony
created by the Akita's appearance and expression.
Its thick coat hides a muscular and powerful body that gives way to
a supple elegance when the Akita is in motion.
Brushing once a week is enough to remove dead hairs. Apart from this
weekly treatment, the Akita does not need any special care. This breed
sheds its hair twice per year and needs more frequent brushing during
this period.

Passion becomes reality!
Passionate about this astonishing breed, I made it my profession.
I respect my animals and they respect me, which is why I continue
to follow the puppies for one year, until confirmation, giving a maximum
amount of advice to their new owners. Selling is not enough: it's
important to maintain contact between the old and new owners while
the puppy is growing up.
