- When I first met an Akita Inu, I was truly captivated by its beauty and its profound gaze. Passionate about this type of dog, I became a breeder. Since then I have been sharing this passion with animal lovers and all those who show an interest.
- I am truly happy to work as a dog breeder, but above all as breeder of this dog which surprises me every day by its complicity, love and respect. Even though I see them every day, I continue to enjoy their steadfast presence.
- This is the dog I had always looked for, combining beauty and intelligence. It's not only a good guard dog, but also a house dog that likes children (of which it can show itself to be highly protective).

- Akita is the name of a province in the north of the Island of Honshu in Japan. "Inu" is Japanese for "dog"
- The Akita-Inu dates from the Edo Era, i.e. the XVIIth century. It was used then as a hunting dog, but also as a bodyguard for the Samurai. Only the nobility had the right to own Akitas, which were symbols of happiness and prosperity. In 1931 the Akita-Inu was proclaimed as a "National Natural Heritage". The government even banned exports in order to conserve the breed.
- It arrived in France in 1989.

THE STORY OF HACHIKO
Hachiko, an Akita belonging to Professor Eisaburo Ueno, accompanied its owner every morning to Shibuya Station in Tokyo. The Professor took the train, while the Akita returned home. It came back in the evening to look for its master. One day in 1925 the professor did not come back, having died during the day.
Until 1934, in other words for 9 years, Hachiko waited for his master every evening at the station.
After Hachiko died in 1934, a bronze statue was dedicated to him at Shibuya station and his skin was conserved in a museum named after Professor Ueno.
